Recognition of courses from other universities

Procedure

1. If possible, organize the recognition before your visit abroad. Choose one or more courses you are interested in and that are related to the lectures of our chair. We can only recognize courses for which we offer an equivalent course.
    
2. Send an e-mail to Christopher Krause including the necessary documents and information.
    
3. Afterwards, we check if a recognition from our chair is possible. You will hear from us within a few days. If necessary, we might arrange a personal appointment. This will depend on your individual case.

Necessary Documents and Information

Learning Agreement

• Completed form Anerkennungsvereinbarung für Auslandsstudienleistungen,
• Syllabus in German or English,
• Scope of the course (credits, SWS and number of weeks),
• Classification of the course (Bachelor, Master or PhD).

Recognition of a course

• Completed form Antrag auf Anerkennung eine Prüfungs- oder Studienleistung,
• Official course grading (with ranking or percentile if possible),

and either

• Learning agreement,

or

• Syllabus in German or English,
• Scope of the course (credits, SWS and number of weeks),
• Classification of the course (Bachelor, Master or PhD).
